Klitschko, now 48, hung up his gloves in 2016 after a thrilling loss to Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium. It was the end of an era for "Dr. Steelhammer," who had dominated the heavyweight division for years. His impressive 64-5 record included wins over big names like David Haye, Alexandr Povetkin, and Kubrat Pulev.
But rumors have started swirling that Klitschko might be eyeing a comeback. The whispers suggest he wants to break George Foreman's record as the oldest heavyweight champ ever.
That's caught the attention of Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs. The Brooklyn-born brawler spent years chasing Klitschko for a fight, famously taunting him with his "Let's go Champ!" catchphrase.
In a recent interview with ESNEWS, Briggs made it clear he's still up for the challenge:
"Ah man don't fight Fury, fight Shannon Briggs. He going to sleep, you know how it play."
Briggs hasn't fought since 2016 either, but he's confident he's got Klitschko's number.
