Carl Froch Reveals Surprising Outcome for Dubois-Parker Clash: "Stamina Will Be Key"

Ronald Crawley Jan. 22, 2025, 5:10 a.m.

Dubois has been on a roll lately. He stopped Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgvic, and Anthony Joshua in his recent fights. Those wins got him the IBF world title and helped him defend it successfully.

Parker's been doing well too. He beat both Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang in his last outings.

Carl Froch, the former super-middleweight champion known as 'The Cobra', shared his thoughts on the fight. He talked about it on his YouTube show, Froch on Fighting.

"Parker's got bags of experience. He's boxing and moving well, he's super fit, he can move around, he can punch a bit, and he's tough. But he doesn't punch with the big boys."

Froch then turned his attention to Dubois:

"Dubois is a big puncher. He's got that confidence from the 'AJ' win. He's got a crushing right hand. But he does gas out."

In the end, Froch thinks Dubois will win by stoppage. He believes Dubois' punching power and size advantage will be too much for Parker to handle.

Dubois is riding high after his knockout win over Anthony Joshua. If he beats Parker, he might get another shot at Oleksandr Usyk for all the belts. Dubois lost to Usyk back in August 2023, but he's improved a lot since then.

The heavyweight division is heating up, and this fight will show us who's ready to take on the top dogs. We'll have to wait and see if Froch's prediction comes true or if Parker can pull off an upset.
