Lopez and Ennis will meet at an event in Riyadh in October

Turki Al Al-Sheikh has announced that a fight between two-weight world champion Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs) and current welterweight world champion Jaron Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) will take place in Riyadh in October.

This fight will also resolve the conflict regarding the length of contact between Lopez and the Top Rank promotional organization. Both parties have been cooperating with Al Al-Sheikh and will be rewarded accordingly. Earlier, Ennis will appear on Matchroom Boxing in a fight against another opponent.

The winner of the Lopez-Ennis fight will have a boxing match next February against the winner of the rematch between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney. Both fights will take place at the same event to open the new season in Riyadh.
