"Canelo is fighting at second middleweight. Crawford just moved up to first middleweight and he had some problems in his fight against Israil Madrimov. Where does he plan to move up? To 164, 165 or 166 pounds? Canelo isn't going down to middleweight. If Alvarez takes the fight, he'll only go down to 166 pounds.
I think Canelo will win this fight based on power and size. I think Crawford is the more skillful fighter in terms of skills, but their size difference will be the determining factor. That's why I'm not a fan of this fight. Crawford has accomplished everything he should have accomplished at bantamweight, welterweight and now bantamweight. That's great for him. If he wants to do something, let him collect the bantamweight belt. He can try to do it, but nothing will bring him such money as a fight with Canelo," said Garcia.
Recall, earlier there was information that Alvarez and Crawford agreed to fight in September.
