Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez might face off in the ring this September. The fight between the undefeated Crawford and the Mexican superstar Alvarez has got fans talking.

Crawford, known as "Bud," boasts a perfect 41-0 record. At 37, the Omaha native has been chasing this fight for a while. Alvarez, with a record of 62-2-2, holds a slight weight advantage over Crawford.

The rumors of this potential matchup got stronger after Crawford and Alvarez met with His Excellency Turki Alalshikh in London. Julius Julianis, a well-known boxing journalist, says they're looking at a September date for the fight.

Dez Bryant, a former Dallas Cowboys star, has put his money where his mouth is. Bryant, who admires Crawford, bet $100,000 on "Bud" to win.

Eddie Hearn, who runs Matchroom Boxing, thinks Alvarez will come out on top. He points to Crawford's size disadvantage as the main reason. Demetrius Andrade agrees, saying Alvarez's weight and power will be too much for Crawford.

David Benavidez, who holds titles in two weight classes, also backs Alvarez. He believes the difference in weight classes will play a big role.

But not everyone's picking Alvarez. Oleksandr Usyk, the undisputed heavyweight champion, is rooting for his friend Crawford. Usyk said:

"I like Terence. He is my friend but he is a crazy man. I say Terence win. Listen, Terence is a different man."

Crawford, who many consider the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, will have to overcome a 14-pound weight difference to beat Alvarez. But Alvarez can't afford to be overconfident.

If it happens, this fight could be the biggest of the year.
