WBO interim heavyweight titleholder Joseph Parker believes he can beat IBF champion Daniel Dubois because of his speed and experience.
"I feel like a lot of people are giving me chances in this fight, but a lot of people are also saying that Dubois is the favorite. Given the way Daniel fights and the power he possesses, of course I can see why he's the favorite.
The way I foresee this fight shaping up is that I will be too fast for him and too experienced. I know he will pressure me, stalk me and throw powerful bombs. Dubois throws a lot of punches and combinations, and all of those punches are power punches.
If you compare this fight to the fights against Wilder and Zhilei, I need to improve my boxing because Dubois offers a completely different energy and resilience, he throws a series of punches. I think Dubois will try to knock me out in the first three or four rounds. I just need to work intelligently, pick my punches and throw them at the end of the rounds," Parker said in an interview with YouTube channel BoxHard Podcast.
Recall that the fight Dubois - Parker will take place on February 22 in Saudi Arabia.
