Amir Khan Reveals Surprising Outcome for Fury-Usyk Rematch: "It's Not What You Think"

Khan believes Fury's got the upper hand this time around. He shared his thoughts in a recent interview with BoxNation.

"Good fight. I think this time Fury knows what mistakes he made in the first fight. He knows that he can't stand in front of a strong Usyk, Usyk still has a lot of power and he's felt Usyk's power this time, knowing that Usyk has come up a weight and still holds that power."

In their first encounter, Usyk won by points decision. The Ukrainian landed a big right hand in the ninth round, which helped him pull ahead on the cards. Fury later claimed he lost concentration because he was having too much fun.

Khan pointed out that Fury usually performs better in rematches, citing his improved performances against Deontay Wilder. He expects 'The Gypsy King' to be more prepared this time.

"So I think Fury is going to be one step ahead. Whenever Fury comes back in a rematch he is always much better so he could probably stop Usyk toward the later rounds."

Despite favoring Fury, Khan didn't discount Usyk's chances. He revealed he had a FaceTime conversation with the Ukrainian champion about eight months ago.

"Then again, I was speaking to Usyk on FaceTime about eight months ago and the guy was training then, he was doing his swims and everything, and I was like this guy's a beast, a true sportsman and warrior. It's going to be a great fight. Fury 60-40."

Both fighters have recently shown themselves to be in peak physical condition ahead of the fight. The rematch is shaping up to be one of the year's biggest boxing events, with both men known for their talent and determination.

Usyk, who moved up in weight and retained his power, will look to prove his first win wasn't a fluke. Fury, on the other hand, will try to reclaim his status as the heavyweight division's top dog.

With so much at stake, fans can expect an action-packed fight when these two warriors step into the ring on December 21.
