World champions have started to call out Paul, seeing a potential fight as an easy payday. Claressa Shields, a five-weight world champion and one of the most decorated female boxers, has shared her thoughts on a possible matchup with Paul.

In an interview with TMZ Sport, Shields didn't hold back:

"I don't think Jake Paul has the skills to get inside the ring with me or any of the guys at 154 pounds and up who is ranked in the rankings. I'm not gonna lie to you. 1-10. I don't think he could pick a guy 1 to 10 in any of the rankings, any of the weight classes and beat them."

Shields doubled down on her statement on social media. She tweeted,

"I get him by stoppage Ko ????"

The boxing champion didn't stop there. She also had some advice for fellow champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez. In an interview with Fight Hub TV, Shields said:

"Which one of you guys that Jake Paul is calling out – and I'm gonna even say this for Mr King Canelo – if Jake Paul is calling you out talking about he can beat you in a fight, why won't you just whoop his ass? Just do it! What is all this, 'oh he hasn't earned the fight with me, he isn't that great, he's not a real a boxer'? Well, show he not a real boxer. Shut him up. It's a cheque. I heard that he made 40 million tonight and Tyson made 20 million. Hey, if they're gonna pay Canelo that type of money for a guy who can't fight, for a guy who they say not a good boxer. Come on now. Let's be real."

Paul, now 27, has made a name for himself through high-profile boxing events. His fight against Tyson, while criticized, proved lucrative. 'Iron' Mike, despite his age, managed to be competitive for a minute or two.

As the dust settles on the Tyson spectacle, Paul will likely announce his next move soon. The boxing world waits to see who will step up to the challenge – and the potential mega payday – next.
