Foreman knows a thing or two about power in the ring. He's had epic battles with Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, and Evander Holyfield. In 1994, at 45 years old, he became the oldest heavyweight champion ever. He beat Michael Moorer for the title after a 10-year break from boxing.
On X (the platform formerly known as Twitter), Foreman shared his thoughts about Tyson:
"Say what you want; criticise as you will; But the fact of the mater is; Mike Tyson was the most spectacular athlete I have ever seen. Power & speed like someone from another planet. All other sports were put on back burner when [Tyson] fought."
Tyson, known as "The Baddest Man on the Planet," had an amazing career. He knocked out his first 12 opponents in the first round. It took until his 19th fight for someone to last six rounds with him. At just 20 years old, he became the youngest world heavyweight champion ever.
Tyson had famous fights against Holyfield, Frank Bruno, and Lennox Lewis. He stepped away from boxing in 2005 after losing two fights in a row.
Now, Tyson's getting ready to box again. He'll face Jake Paul, a former YouTuber who's now a boxer. Paul has had 11 fights and lost once. They'll fight eight two-minute rounds in Arlington, Texas, and you can watch it live on Netflix.
It's clear there's a big difference in experience between Tyson and Paul. But with Foreman's recent praise, fans will be eager to see if Tyson still has that otherworldly power and speed.
