Terence Crawford looks for his next big fight in 2025. The former undisputed welterweight champion wants to continue his winning streak after moving up to super-welterweight.

Crawford made his debut at 154lbs in August, beating Israil Madrimov by unanimous decision to win the WBA super-welterweight title in Los Angeles. The victory came after his impressive performance against Errol Spence Jr in July 2023, where he stopped his opponent in the ninth round to become the undisputed welterweight champion.

But Crawford's reign as undisputed champion didn't last long. The IBF stripped him of their belt when he couldn't fight his mandatory challenger due to a rematch clause with Spence. As a result, Jaron Ennis got promoted from interim to full champion.

Ennis has been busy too. He beat David Avanesyan inside five rounds in July. Now, he's getting ready to fight Karen Chukhadzhian this weekend at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. It's a rematch of their January 2023 bout, where Ennis won every round on all scorecards. Some fans wonder why they're fighting again so soon.

Ennis has said he wants to fight Crawford next year. But Oscar De La Hoya, the former champion turned promoter, doesn't think it'll be a close fight.

"Please. Terence Crawford will destroy 'Boots haha."

De La Hoya shared this opinion on social media, showing he's not impressed with Ennis's chances against Crawford.

But not everyone agrees with De La Hoya. Ryan Garcia, another top fighter, thinks the match-up would be much closer.

As 2025 approaches, boxing fans will keep an eye on Crawford's next move. Will he take on Ennis, or will he look for a different challenge? Only time will tell.
