Lennox Lewis Pinpoints Tyson Fury's Critical Flaw Against Usyk: "He Underestimated Him"

Lewis knows a thing or two about being undisputed. He was the last man to hold all the major heavyweight belts before Usyk, achieving this feat back in 1999 when he beat Evander Holyfield. His career wasn't without setbacks, though. He got knocked out twice by underdogs but came back strong to win both rematches.

Fury and Usyk's first fight ended with Usyk winning a close split decision. The ninth round proved crucial when Fury took a big left hand and got a standing eight count. After the fight, Fury said he had too much fun in the ring and promised to be more focused next time.

Lewis thinks Fury's main mistake happened early on. He told BoxNation:

"I think he moved too much in the first couple of rounds where he should have won those rounds. I like him with a little more weight, throwing that jab more, not leaning back as much. Heavyweights now they lean back like that, that's a big mistake."

The former champ also believes Fury should use his size more effectively:

"Tyson is 6'9, he should use every part of that when he can. I always say the bigger guy wins, but you gotta use what God gave you."

Fury has vowed to be more focused in the rematch, which is set for December 21 in Saudi Arabia. Will he take Lewis's advice on board? We'll have to wait and see.
