WBC interim light heavyweight champion David Benavides (29-0, 24 KOs) will fight Jesse Hart (31-3, 25 KOs) on Dec. 21 at Premier Boxing Champions Boxing Night in Washington, D.C. The fight will be headlined by a fight against Jesse Hart (31-3, 25 KOs).

In his last professional appearance, Benavides defeated Oleksandr Gvozdyk to win the interim world title in his second weight class. Hart has fought twice in the past for super middleweight championship belts.

The main event of the evening will be a WBA lightweight title fight between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach. It is possible that the tournament will end up taking place a week earlier or a week later, as the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is also scheduled for December 21.
