Eddie Hearn has made no secret of his satisfaction with his protégé Jack Catterall (30-1, 13 KOs), and says he will soon have the opportunity to fight for a world title.

"Cat" has boxed three really serious opponents throughout the year - Jorge Linares (47-9, 29 KOs), Josh Taylor (19-2, 13 KOs) and last night Regis Progrese (29-3, 24 KOs). According to the head of Matchroom Boxing, that's definitely enough to give him a shot at a championship fight.

"Jack is probably the most underrated boxer in the world. In 11 months he's beaten Linares, Taylor and now Progrese. He really needs a championship shot. On December 7, Liam Paro will fight Richardson Hitchins. The winner will immediately get an offer to fight Catterall. Jack should be number 1 in the WBO. I would love to bring Teofimo Lopez to Manchester for Jack to kick his ass," said the 45-year-old promoter.
