Jake Paul Reveals Next Target After Mike Tyson Bout: "I Will Shock The World"

Jake Paul has big plans for his boxing career after his upcoming fight with Mike Tyson. The social media star turned boxer wants to take on world champion Canelo Alvarez next.

Paul has been in the boxing game for the past four years. He's beaten some big names from the MMA world, including former UFC champs Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz. He's also taken down Ben Askren and Mike Perry. But he hit a bump in the road when he lost to Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Now, Paul is gearing up for a controversial fight with Mike Tyson. They'll face off on Friday, November 15, 2023, at AT&T; Stadium in Texas. Some people are worried about Tyson's age and health for this match.

But Paul is already looking past Tyson. He's got his sights set on Canelo Alvarez. In a recent chat with TMZ Sports, Paul made it clear he thinks he can beat the champ.

"1000%. Everything I've said has come true. That's why Canelo should be awake at night because I'm coming for him. The fight is going to happen and I will win and shock the whole entire world."

Paul knows his confidence might sound crazy to some people. But he's not backing down.

"This is me speaking it into existence and people will sit there and listen and be like 'he's crazy' but I was crazy when I said I would do the biggest fights and beat Woodley, Anderson Silva, so you're crazy until you're not."

It's worth noting that Paul's only loss so far came against Tommy Fury. The BBC reported that Fury won by split decision in February 2023. This was the first time Paul fought a boxer with a winning record.

As for the upcoming Tyson fight, other boxers are weighing in. Ryan Garcia has shared his thoughts on the battle. We'll have to wait and see if Paul can back up his big talk against Tyson before he sets his sights on Canelo.
