Former world champion Carl Froch believes that following Anthony Joshua's defeat to IBF heavyweight titleholder Daniel Dubois, "AJ" should try to set up a fight with Tyson Fury.
"Joshua needs to take a break. He just got caught in a hard knockout, got a 28-day suspension because the knockout was so bad. He needs to wait, take a break, relax and see what Tyson Fury does with Oleksandr Usyk. I think the odds are in Usyk's favor in this fight. I'm not taking anything away from Tyson Fury, but based on what I think, have seen and know, Tyson Fury is going to be in big trouble.
Let's imagine Fury loses to Usyk in a rematch. His fight with Joshua is a big fight that will always be relevant. It will probably pack Wembley. Let them both lost to Usyk, both lost former world heavyweight champion, but it's a huge fight," said Froch on his podcast.
Recall that on September 21, Dubois knocked out Joshua in the fifth round in the main event of the evening of boxing at London's Wembley stadium.
