Shane Mosley Reveals Surprising Take on Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson: "People Don't Understand"

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are set to face off in a boxing match on November 15 at AT&T; stadium in Texas. The fight will stream live on Netflix and will be available to all standard subscribers.

Tyson, the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion, is making his first professional boxing return in twenty years. Paul, at 27, has transitioned from YouTube star to boxer. The match was originally planned for July but got pushed back due to a flare-up of Tyson's ulcer.

Shane Mosley, a Hall of Fame fighter and former three-weight world champion, shared his thoughts on the match with The Philadelphia Inquirer. Mosley, who was Paul's first trainer and recently worked with him for the Nate Diaz fight, knows both fighters well.

"If Mike really hits Jake, Mike can really hurt Jake, and I know what Mike can do and what Jake can do."

Mosley pointed out that Paul might not grasp the full extent of Tyson's hitting power. He also mentioned that despite the two-minute rounds, both fighters' pride is on the line, and Tyson isn't likely to lose on purpose.

For Paul's strategy, Mosley suggested:

"In the first five or six rounds, and what makes this so fun, is that getting hit by Mike Tyson is dangerous, very dangerous. Jake will have to tire Mike out."

Mosley stressed the seriousness of professional fights:

"People need to understand that a bar fight between two guys is one thing, a professional fighter, especially a former world champion, regardless of age, is still a very dangerous man who can seriously hurt you."

Tyson has assured fans he's in full fitness and boldly stated he'll end Paul's boxing career on fight night.

The match promises to be an intriguing clash between youth and experience, with both fighters having a lot to prove. Fans around the world will be tuning in to see if the legendary Tyson still has what it takes, or if Paul can pull off a stunning upset.
