Top Trainer Robert Garcia Reveals Surprising Pick for Beterbiev-Bivol Showdown: "Nobody Expects This"

Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev are getting ready for a big fight. The two unbeaten boxers will meet on October 12 in Saudi Arabia to decide who's the best light-heavyweight in the world.

Bivol comes into the fight with some impressive wins under his belt. He beat Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, becoming only the second man to do so. After that, he won on points against Gilberto Ramirez and Lyndon Arthur. His most recent fight ended with a stoppage victory over Malik Zinad.

Bivol's smart footwork, high ring IQ, and slick defenses have served him well so far. But he'll face a tough challenge in Beterbiev, who has knocked out every single one of his 20 opponents. Beterbiev's recent victories include wins over Callum Smith, Anthony Yarde, and Joe Smith Jr.

Robert Garcia, a well-known trainer, shared his thoughts on the fight with Fight Hub TV. He said:

"Can't wait for that one man, that's going to be a fight that's hard to pick the winner. I lean towards Bivol by decision. I just think he's got that style that he's not going to allow Beterbiev to step in and get close, I don't know. But also I wouldn't be surprised if Beterbiev steps in and hurts him and knocks him out 'cause that guy has so much power he can knock anybody out but I lean to Bivol by decision."

Garcia thinks Bivol will win on points, but he's not ruling out a knockout from Beterbiev. The trainer believes Bivol's style might keep Beterbiev at bay, but he knows Beterbiev's power could change the fight in an instant.

The winner of this fight will hold all four belts in the light-heavyweight division. If Bivol wins, it could set up a rematch with Canelo. The Mexican star might want another shot at Bivol, this time with all four belts at 175 pounds on the line.

This fight has got boxing fans excited. With both fighters unbeaten and bringing different styles to the ring, it's shaping up to be a classic. We'll have to wait until October 12 to see who comes out on top.
