Charr-Pulev on December 7 in Sofia

On December 7, the fight for the regular WBA heavyweight belt between Manuel Charr (34-4, 20 KOs) and Kubrat Pulev (30-3, 14 KOs) should take place at the boxing night in Sofia. The fight was originally scheduled to take place in March, but was postponed due to Charr's health problems.

As a result, Pulev fought Igor Shevadzutsky in March and won on points. For Charr, who as a result of a legal dispute was recognized as the regular WBA champion, it will be a return to the ring after a two-year break.

The winner of the fight will become the official challenger for a fight with Oleksandr Usyk, who is the full World Boxing Association champion.
