Ryan Garcia is facing a year in prison.

Ryan Garcia (25-1, 20 KOs) faces a year in prison in a case in which he is accused of vandalizing and causing $15,000 in damage to a Beverly Hills hotel.

Garcia was arrested in the case in early July and was released after questioning. The formal indictment is due to be unsealed in August and the entire case should be resolved this year.

At the time of his arrest in July, Garcia complained of health problems and was later taken to a medical center for evaluation and treatment. Garcia's attorney released a statement saying that Garcia has been open about his mental health issues over the years, and added that the boxer is currently struggling with a huge emotional burden following his doping scandal in his fight with Devin Haney.
