Bradley criticized Benavides for his fight with Gvozdyk

Former world champion Timothy Bradley said he was not impressed with David Benavides' performance in his fight against Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

"Yeah, he didn't look great. Honestly, I think Benavides looked mediocre. It almost looked like he took a page out of Canelo's book and was invested in every punch. He threw every punch with power. Benavides was getting in close and hitting left hooks.

You go up in weight, you put on extra pounds and you think you don't have to work as hard as you used to. But what happens is you lose conditioning along the way. Benavides is big for a second middleweight. When he fights there, he needs to run, maintain conditioning, train extremely hard to make weight.

His power didn't carry over to welterweight with him. He looked tired. It seemed like he ran out of gas from the sixth round, his mouth was wide open," said Bradley.

Recall that on June 15, Benavides defeated Gvozdik by unanimous decision of judges in the co-main event of the evening of boxing in Las Vegas.
