Benavides - on the victory over Gvozdik: "I performed 7 points out of 10"

Interim WBC light heavyweight champion David Benavidez commented on his win against Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

"Honestly, I think I performed 7 points out of 10. Alexander is a great fighter. It's no surprise that he's a former world champion and a former Olympian.

We're still focused on getting down to the second middleweight and fighting for the title. If we can get Canelo or if they make the belt vacant, I would like to win it again," Benavides said.

Benavides defeated Gvozdyk by unanimous decision this morning in the co-main event of the boxing night in Las Vegas.
