Gvozdik expects to see a better version of Benavides

Oleksandr Gvozdik, former WBC light heavyweight champion of the world, spoke out about his upcoming fight with David Benavides.

"If he underestimates me, doesn't train like he should, it's good. I can only be happy about that. On the other hand, I don't expect him to be out of shape. That's not the way I expect to win. I expect to see the best version of Benavides. Yes, he speaks correctly about me. Maybe that's a sign of underestimation. Since in his case thrash-talk is a defensive reaction. That's what I think. Right now he feels comfortable not feeling the need to affect me morally. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. But I do not think much about it."

Recall, the fight Gvozdik with Benavides will take place on June 15.
