Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are getting ready for a big fight in Las Vegas this September. Crawford's stepping up two weight divisions to challenge Canelo for his undisputed super-middleweight title.

If Crawford wins, it'll be only the third loss in Canelo's career. The Mexican star's first defeat came against Floyd Mayweather back in September 2013 when he lost on points. His second loss was more recent, in May 2022, when Dmitry Bivol beat him by unanimous decision.

Bivol, who fought Canelo at light heavyweight, shared his thoughts on the champion's power after their bout.

I felt his power. He has really good power. He has good speed, good power, good sense, but some people are born with the power. I don't have that type of power. I can throw a power punch if I want to put the power into my punch, I can do it intentionally and some other boxers, they have power in every punch.

The Russian fighter went on to explain:

They can just throw a punch and it's already powerful. To be honest, as a light-heavyweight, I didn't feel like he had that power that you get from birth, I felt like he was just putting everything he can into every punch and trying to make it powerful.

Crawford's biggest challenge will be dealing with Canelo's power after moving up two weight classes. The American's known for his skills, but he'll be facing a much bigger opponent in Canelo.

The fight's already getting a lot of attention, with fans eager to see how Crawford handles the jump in weight and if Canelo can defend his titles against one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world.

Adding to the excitement, a former sparring partner who's worked with both fighters has made a prediction about the outcome. Their insight could give fans a unique perspective on how the fight might play out.

As September gets closer, boxing fans around the world will be watching closely to see if Crawford can pull off the upset or if Canelo will add another big name to his impressive list of victories.
