UFC ranked lightweight Benoit Saint-Denis gave his prediction for the upcoming bout between the organization's featherweight champion Islam Makhachev and Dustin Porier.
"It's going to be a great fight! Dustin Porier is a motivated and experienced boxer, I believe boxing will be on his side. However, Makhachev is also a versatile fighter. I think Islam has looked at Dustin's fight with me and Dustin's fight with Charles Oliveira. The strategy for this fight is already clear: Islam will try to catch Porier on the counter, and Dustin will go for the knockout. I wouldn't rule out that Makhachev has the ability to knockout Puryear. But my prediction - Dustin will win by knockout," - quotes Benoit Saint-Denis portal Bloody Elbow.
Recall that the fight between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Puryear will take place on June 1 in Newark and will headline UFC 302.
