Wilder on life after boxing: 'I'm very talented, there are many other areas'

Former world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has answered what he plans to do after his career is over.

"I don't know what I'm going to do after boxing, but I know I'm not going to box forever. I'm very talented. There are a lot of other areas in life, so I just can't put my eggs in one basket.

Boxing is not all I'm good at. A lot of fighters say that fighting is all they know how to do. I genuinely hate to hear them say that. You have an expiration date in life, and you probably have an expiration date as a fighter.

And if that's all they know how to do, I hope they're saving or investing their money somewhere. Because money comes in, but it goes out faster than it comes in," Warren said in an interview with Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions.

As a reminder, Wilder will cross gloves with Zhang Zhilei on June 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
