"They do similar things in the top position, but they are definitely different fighters. Makhachev has a great clinch, underhooks, he's a more flexible puncher than Khabib. He's more focused on doing sub-moves than Khabib, especially when it comes to elbow leverage, which is something we've never seen from Khabib. They are similar in certain moments, but some things Islam does better than Khabib and some things Khabib does better than Islam."
