Former UFC title challenger Darren Till shared his expectations for the upcoming fight between fellow undefeated Hamzat Chimaev and the promotion's former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.
"I think Hamzat will win, but he has to be careful. Whittaker is a tricky opponent. He has a great mix of striking and tekdowns. I don't think Robert is going to drop his takedown attempts on Hamzat. Chimaev, on the other hand, will probably try to take Rob to the ground. But the Australian has a great wrestling defense.
I think Hamzat will win early, in the second round. Chimaev has enough power to land punches with his legs and hands. It will be a good fight," Till said in an interview with The Mac Life.
Recall that Whittaker and Chimaev will meet on June 22 at the debut UFC event in Saudi Arabia.
