Paul responded harshly to suggestions that he might ease up against the veteran Tyson. In an interview with TMZ Sports, he stated, "Absolutely not because if he has the same opportunity you know damn well he is going to finish me in embarrassing fashion. So, I have to reciprocate that same energy. But Mike Tyson is a killer. He's ruthless. He's the most vicious champion ever. So, I have to channel that Mike Tyson energy to finish him. And the legend must fall." His remarks underline his determination and respect for Tyson's formidable legacy.

Adding further insights into the challenge ahead, Paul discussed the complexities of moving up a weight class and battling an experienced opponent like Tyson. "Yes, absolutely. Just moving up to heavyweight to face Mike Tyson with his power, his experience and his tenacity. He will no doubt pull out some veteran tricks that he has learned throughout his career," Paul explained.

As for 58-year-old Tyson, despite retiring from professional boxing in 2005 after a defeat by Kevin McBride and experiencing various health issues over the years, recent footage shows him training with notable intensity and power—a testament to his enduring commitment and capability.
