Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are getting ready to face off in the boxing ring. The two fighters will meet on July 20 at AT&T; Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and fans will be able to watch the action on Netflix.
Oscar De La Hoya, the former boxing champion, has changed his mind about the fight. At first, he didn't like the idea. He worried about Tyson's legacy and thought Paul should take a more serious path to become a world champion.
"You [Paul] say you want to be a world champion. You say you want to take this sport serious then take it serious. This is not a popularity contest."
But now, De La Hoya is looking forward to the match. He's impressed by how Paul has improved as a boxer. He thinks this fight could be a big step up for Paul's career.
"I'm actually looking forward to it. Jake Paul, he's moving up, he's becoming a better fighter, this fight here, the fact he's focused and determined and he's going up against the great Mike Tyson. It takes him to another level."
De La Hoya has noticed Paul's physical changes too.
"I've seen Jake Paul's videos, he looks big, he looks huge. So whatever spray he's taking, it's working."
The former champ thinks Tyson has the edge in the early rounds. He believes "Iron Mike" could knock Paul out before the fourth round. But if the fight goes longer, De La Hoya thinks Paul's youth and fitness might give him an advantage.
Tyson brings his legendary power and reputation to the ring. But at his age, he might have trouble with conditioning and speed. Paul, on the other hand, has youth, size, and a new focus on his side.
De La Hoya isn't the only one who's changed his mind about this fight. Bernard Hopkins, another boxing legend, has also come around to the idea.
As the fight date gets closer, fans and experts will keep debating who has the edge. Will Tyson's experience and power win out? Or will Paul's youth and recent dedication to boxing pay off? We'll find out on July 20.
