Artur Beterbiev, the reigning WBC, WBO, IBF light-heavyweight champion of the world, talked about his recovery from injury.
"The most unpleasant part is over! I would like to thank David for performing the surgery quickly and efficiently, and for doing everything he could to help solve the problem. Everything went well, now we have recovery, procedures and return to training ahead of us. Thank you all for understanding and support, I think everything will be fine soon!" - wrote Beterbiev in social networks.
Recall that on June 1, Beterbiev was to hold a bout with Dmitry Bivol, the world champion in the WBA light-heavyweight division. However, Beterbiev was injured and withdrew from the fight.
