Colby Covington, a former challenger for the UFC welterweight championship belt, has stated his desire for a bout with the organization's former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
"I think a fight with Charles Oliveira makes sense. He's been saying recently that he wants to come to welterweight, and I'm the king of freaking Brazil - everybody knows I rule the freaking country. All the women in Brazil love me, all the men in Brazil want to be like me. So Charles Oliveira, do you really want to get a big fight at welterweight? Then let's see if you're a simple talker or if you're ready to back up your words with action," Submission Radio quoted the fighter as saying.
