Devin Haney, the former undisputed lightweight world champion, explained why his rematch with Vasily Lomachenko. According to Devin, he wanted a second fight, but it didn’t work out due to “low numbers.”
“It didn’t make sense. I know it would have been a loud fight - much louder than the first one. The previous fight was controversial, so the second one should be bigger. But the numbers didn't seem to be that high, Haney said.
Let us remind you that on December 9, Haney will make his debut in the first welterweight and will fight with WBC world champion Regis Prograis.
