Overeem doesn't see Pereira as a champion

Former K-1 champion and UFC fighter Alistair Overeem shared his opinion about the current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira.

“He’s an interesting fighter. Do I see him as a champion? No. I think it's hard for opponents to figure him out at the moment, but once they figure him out, they'll destroy him and it'll be a tough time for him. I think he's excellent in the striking department, but his jiu-jitsu and wrestling are lacking. He is so good at the striking department that other fighters cannot beat him. Once he gets sorted out in his strike plan, it’s going to be difficult for him,” Overeem said.
