Makhachev sees no interest from the UFC in their fight with Covington

Islam Makhachev, UFC lightweight champion, spoke about a possible fight with a contender for the promotion's welterweight title Colby Covington.

“Yes, there are talks, but I don’t yet see that the UFC is showing interest in this, because I have a maximum of two more fights in my division so that I can say that I have no one to fight there,” said fighter.

Let us remember that earlier Makhachev said that he would agree to insure the fight between Covington and Edwards if he was offered good conditions.
