Deontay Wilder, the former WBC world heavyweight champion, responded to the news that the former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou entered the top ten of the WBC heavyweight rankings after a fight with Tyson Fury.
“Congratulations to him. What else can I add? I am happy for him. He came from MMA, risked his life and got the opportunity to be in the rankings. I hope that Ngannou will stay in boxing, because I would also like to combine boxing and mixed martial arts.”
Let us remind you that Ngannou lost to Fury by split decision.
