UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis commented on the organization's decision to retain Jon Jones heavyweight championship belt, despite the fact that he was out for a long time due to his injury.
“I think it’s fair because John proved last time again that he deserves to be champion. I think they'll give the other guys the interim title. I believe Jones still deserves the championship belt. He had the longest streak of light heavyweight title defenses in history. Therefore, I think they did the right thing,” the fighter said.
