Khabib called Volkanovski a great champion

Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former UFC lightweight champion, turned to the promotion's current featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski after his rematch with Islam Makhachev, the organization's lightweight champion.

“We have great respect for Alex and wish him all the best. He is a good person and a great champion with a big heart,” Khabib said.

Let us remember that in the rematch, Makhachev knocked out Volkanovski in the first round of their confrontation.
