Islam Makhachev, the current UFC lightweight champion, announced his desire to “smear” Colby Covington.
“I hope Covington wins the belt because I want to face him and shut him up. He talks too much and says things that are not true. I said I wanted to move up to welterweight because I dreamed of fighting for the second belt, and he said I didn’t want to fight him. I want to smash this guy because then I’ll go down in history.”
