Pacquiao will not compete at the 2024 Olympics

The International Olympic Committee did not allow the legendary Manny Pacquiao to the Olympic Games 2024, which will be held in Paris.

“The admission requirements include an age limit of 40 years, which the then AIBA established back in 2013 as a rule for boxing tournaments. When the IOC suspended AIBA in 2019, it ensured that boxing could remain on the Olympic Games program in Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 to protect the interests of athletes. And therefore the IOC approved the IBA technical rules for the Tokyo Olympic tournament, which were not disputed. The same technical rules will apply at the tournament in Paris,” says the IOC’s official response.
