Tony Ferguson, the former interim UFC lightweight champion, again spoke unflatteringly about the organization’s former champion in this division Khabib Nurmagomedov. Tony called him a coward.
“We were supposed to be coaches on TUF 31, but I think whatever happened there, in the end he didn’t have the guts to go coach his cousin. In November, I already knew that we would be coaches, I had meetings with people from the UFC, and I did everything to bring Khabib back. But in the end, he still ran away like a coward. So off he went.”
Let us remind you that Khabib retired from his career in October 2020.
