Mayweather on Crawford vs Spence: 'I wouldn't want Errol to fight at welterweight'

Former world champion Floyd Mayweather spoke about the fight for the undisputed world welterweight title between Errol Spence and Terence Crawford. Floyd noted that he treats both boxers very well and would not like their fight to take place.

“... Both guys did what they did and the best one won. I only wish the best for Errol Spence... If I had coached him and been in the corner, I would be against him competing at welterweight at all. And I don't think he needs to fight at junior middleweight. I think he should have fought at middleweight or super middleweight. That's my opinion," Mayweather said.

Recall that Crawford defeated Spence by TKO in the ninth round.
