Kamaru Usman, a former UFC welterweight champion, has revealed when he wants his next fight. Usman also named an opponent with whom he would like to meet in the octagon.
“I want to fight this year, in the fall. The only guy that makes sense to fight at the moment is Stephen Thompson. He needs an opponent. He is one of those guys who has been in business for a long time and who has a name. His style is very complex and he is one of the few fighters of my era that I have not fought yet,” Usman said.
Recall that Kamaru lost the last two fights in a row, losing by knockout and then a split decision to Leon Edwards.
