Redkach stood up for Khizhnyak: "Of course, the shitty comments of Ukrainian journalists were not long in coming"

Ukrainian boxer Ivan Redkach responded to criticism Alexander Khizhnyak after winning the European Games. The fact is that Khizhnyak refused to communicate with media representatives, which was the reason for criticism. Commentator Vitaliy Volochay hit Oleksandr especially hard, saying that "it's better to lose in the first round, but to communicate with the press from all over the world that was waiting for you there and give comments." Redkach replied to Volochai.

“Immediately after the fight, Khizhnyak did not give an interview to Ukrainian journalists. And, of course, the shitty comments of Ukrainian journalists were not long in coming. Wow, take it easy, man! To become a professional sports journalist, the main thing is to love the sport you are talking about with all your heart. Journalism in the eyes of Vitaly Volochay looks more and more like an instrument of power and influence, ingenious manipulations, financial investments and personal gain. Nobody needs such journalists. Khizhnyak did his job and did this job perfectly for himself and for Ukraine! You are not doing your job at all,” Redkach said.
