Gan to fight Spivak on September 2 in Paris

Former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Cyril Gun meet with Sergei Spivak in the main event of the tournament in Paris, which is scheduled for September 2.

The upcoming event will be the second tournament of the leading promotion in the history of France. Gan also headlined the first show in Paris last September when he knocked out Tai Tuivasa in the third round.

In March, the 33-year-old Gan (11-2) got the opportunity to challenge Jon Jones for the vacant title, but lost without a chance by submission in the first round.

As for the 28-year-old Spivak, he goes on a series of three early early victories. The Moldavian got the last of them in February, defeating Derrick Lewis with a choke hold.
