Ben Shalom, head of the Boxxer promotion organization, has high hopes for Martina Bakole (19-1, 14 KOs), who on Saturday in Rzeszow defeated a previously undefeated Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutsky. The Congolese currently ranks second in the WBA rankings. The number one remains Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs). And that is exactly what the British promoter is going to target.

“Oleksandr Usyk is obliged to fight Daniel Dubois. The first two places in the ranking belong to Martin and Wilder. So they both have to fight in some kind of eliminator, this fight simply has to take place, ”Shalom said.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes of the tournament in Rzeszow, Bakola collided, fortunately, only verbally, with Dillian Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) and the couple exchanged unpleasant remarks about each other.
