Oleksandr Krasyuk, Denis Berinchyk's promoter, recalled the Ukrainian boxer's recent fight with Ivan Mendy.
"Difficult. First, not Brovary. Second, it's cold. Well, really, somewhere + 5-6 degrees. Open stadium. I am in two jackets, a hat, mittens, Denis is in shorts. The first two rounds, when Denis beat, he didn’t even raise his elbow so that it wouldn’t be cold. It was cold and weird. And when they were already swinging, then it went. Mandy is, in short, a tough guy. He passed both the Crimea and Rome. The fight was not exciting, but technically Denis did a really difficult job. He technically beat a technical boxer. He succeeded. A close duel, the score went back and forth somewhere, but they raised their hand to Denis, ”the functionary said.
The fight between Berinchik and Mendy took place on December 3 in London, ending with Denis' victory by unanimous decision.
