Donaire names Alvarez's only chance to win in Bivol rematch

Legendary Filipino Veteran Nonito Donaire believes that the absolute world champion in the second middleweight Saul Alvarez will be able to defeat the holder of the WBA light heavyweight title Dmitry Bivol only if the latter, for the sake of revenge, descends into his weight category.

“Things might turn out differently in super middleweight, but I don’t think Canelo has a chance with Bivol in the light heavyweight division. Dimitri is too big there.

I think that Alvarez should take his time and recover. He doesn't need to fight right away. If that happens, then I think Canelo could go after Ramirez. It would be a good fight for him, but fans will want him to fight Benavidez," Donaire was quoted as saying by Boxing News 24.

Recall that in May, Bivol defeated Alvarez by unanimous decision, defending his light heavyweight title.
