Mahmudov defeated Takam on points

Arslanbek Mahmudov (15-0, 14 KOs) won by unanimous decision over Carlos Takam (39-7-1, 28 KOs) in the main bout of the evening in Montreal, Canada. After ten rounds, the judges scored 97-91 and twice 96-92 in favor of Makhmudov.

Takamu was counted down by knockdowns in the first and seventh rounds. The Frenchman focused on working on counterattacks and at times defended very effectively and attacked with the second number.

In the end, the judges noted the advantage of Makhmudov, who won the second victory this year and was forced to go the entire planned distance for the first time in the professional ring.
