Former UFC Lightweight Championship Contender Michael Chandler stated that after winning the battle with Dustin Poirier, he will definitely meet in the octagon with the winner of the Oliveira-Makhachev pair.

“I think I will finish Poirier and be next in line for the title. I will fight Makhachev or Oliveira in the first quarter of next year or in the summer. I have no doubt that this will be the case. At the most in the middle of next year, I will become the new champion,” said Chandler.

The confrontation between Chandler and Poirier will take place on November 12 in New York. As for the Oliveira-Makhachev fight, it will take place on October 22.
