Carlos 'El Terrible' Machado, an Argentine fighter, became a one-armed Muay Thai champion. He got there by overcoming the loss of his limb through Thai boxing.

Machado's journey began when he was just two years old. Doctors found a cancerous tumor under his armpit. Over the next year and a half, he went through nine surgeries. The tumor kept coming back. In the end, doctors had to amputate his arm.

As he grew up, Machado found his place in sports, the gym, and martial arts. These places welcomed him without treating him differently. At first, his coach was surprised to see a one-armed fighter. But Machado's dedication soon won him over.

Machado's skills took him to Thailand. He spent four months there, training and fighting. He won two fights during his stay. This experience helped him grow as a fighter.

A gym in Switzerland noticed Machado's talent. They gave him a chance to train, compete, and teach in Europe. Now, he spends about six months a year there, spreading his knowledge and skills.

Machado's hard work paid off when he joined the World Muay Thai Organization. He fought his way to the top and became their champion. His story shows that with determination, anyone can overcome challenges and reach their goals.

"I found a world where I wasn't treated differently," Machado said about his journey into martial arts.

Machado's story is more than just about winning titles. It's about finding your place in the world and never giving up, no matter what life throws at you.
